Practice Philosophy

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Ziomek has practiced Family Medicine in several settings:  large group/hospital settings, outpatient group practice, community practice, Urgent Care/Primary Care, and large company employee health clinics.

 

Her current solo practice has been in operation for the past 15 years.   ​Dr. Ziomek believes that this  type of practice offers several key advantages for patients:

• Concierge-like service: Being in a solo practice allows Dr. Ziomek to provide concierge-like service, meaning that patients have direct access to their doctor via phone or email.  It also enables the doctor to spend more time in the office with each patient as needed. 

• Continuity of care: Patients will always see the same doctor. Getting to know a patient's medical issues well allows for improved, personalized care, as well as a good doctor/patient relationship. 

• Readily available appointments: Patients can usually be seen within a few days, sometimes on the same day.
